Meet Danielle and Temi
Danielle and Temi live in Hyson Green, Nottingham with their 4-week-old son Ayobami. Danielle was able to establish breastfeeding within a few days with her son and started expressing to keep up with her supply very quickly.
Danielle is in the process of getting ADHD and autism diagnoses, and she soon noticed that her neurodiversity was impacting her feeding. Remembering to express, keeping on top of housework but also taking care of herself, whether it be eating, sleeping or drinking water can be more challenging as she sometimes struggles to get into a routine.
This is where she can count on the support of her partner Temi. As Danielle is able to express, it means Temi can step in and support with the feeding. However, his support goes far beyond that. Temi is there to remind Danielle of the things she might forget easily from taking vitamins, to eating and very importantly, getting some much-needed rest. Temi has been making sure the house is running smoothly to ease the mental load off Danielle whilst she settles into motherhood and a feeding routine with Ayobami.
